Seriously though, Max Martin and Shellback write some okay songs, but they sure do make their fair share of crap. They go from writing this to working with flipping Taylor Swift down the track and writing one of the worst songs of 2012!

Comeback? Ich bin überrascht, dass das nicht mal in Kanada ein grösserer Hit wurde. Eigentlich eine flotte und doch radiotaugliche Nummer, im typischen Stil von Avril Lavigne. Gute 5.
Find ich nach mehrmaligem Hören echt klasse!!! Avril goes 60s:_))) Das 60s-Arrangement und der Refrain zünden nicht sofort aber beim 2. und 3- Mal:-))))
Äußerst knappe 4 Sterne. "All my life I've been good but now - ohohoho what the hell..." Dieser unsägliche Plastiksound wird auch nicht durch den eingängigen Refrain besser. Da hilft auch der groovige Bass-Synthie in der Bridge nicht wirklich, obwohl die Bridge im Song das Beste überhaupt ist. Erst die Akustik-Version kann mich ganz überzeugen, die bringt es in meiner Einschätzung auf gute 4 Sterne.
Never thought a song could be so much fun but this one is. While the subject matter of the song is a bit shameful, it's still an awesome party track. Go Avril!

Halt wie immer, Max Martin sollte endlich mal wieder vernünftige Musik produzieren, bloss nicht mehr diesen totgedudelten Mainstreamschiss (von mir aus auch Metal so wie ganz ganz früher mal). AL seit ihrer Pickelcreme-Werbung (u.a. während den Pausen bei Britt [Sat 1 Schweiz]) eh nicht mehr für voll zunehmen.

Sehr eingängiger und hitverdächtiger Partyhit von Avril Lavigne. Musikalisch leider wenig speziell, aber die Kanadierin wird sich hiermit zurückmelden können.
I finally was forced to listen to this today. Bad Ryan Seacrest. I actually like it though. :( It's catchy, and has a nice overall sound to it. I don't like the fact that she hasn't changed one bit in nine years though. *Chorus plays again.* Too catchy :'(
Gerade im Radio gehört... Kann zum Vorgängeralbum keine wirkliche Steigerung heraushören, es klingt immer noch sehr "girly-like". Dem Refrain kann ich ein gewisses Ohrwurmpotenzial nicht absprechen, allerdings nerven mich das im Hintergrund ertönende "Yeah Yeah Yeah" und die vielen Lalalala's und Oh Oh Oh's doch etwas.
Nette Radiosingle, aber ziemlich schwach um auf ein Album heiß zu machen.
Not too bad. It's a little weak in the lyrics and the music could have been better, but it's a lot stronger than some of her recent stuff. Let us hope there are stronger tracks on the album.
You would have thought Avril would have matured and developed as an artist bearing in mind this is exactly the same problem i had 4 years ago!!! with girlfriend which she was just about able to get away with despite her age back then. The shameless plugging and product placing of loads of items in the video is also enough to automatically switch off. I agree with the comments this song would be better suited to a younger age appropriate artist. She can still produce fun unashamidly pop songs like Ke$ha, P!nk or Katy Perry. After hearing the track a lot more since my first review although i stand by my initial views i suppose this is what it is and she's not the worst pop star out there. UK#16 and Ireland#30. Avril Lavigne und Max Martin, was für eine grauenvolle Kombination! Der Song selbst ist ja schon oberbilliger Mist, doch mit dem furchtbaren, schrillen Geplärre ist das erst recht eine Zumutung. Von Herzen die Tiefstwertung.
Ik dacht dat Lavigne zo onderhand de iets 'volwassenere' kant op ging. Deze klinkt net zo kinderachtig als al die verschrikkelijke Pink-platen bij elkaar.
Klingt ziemlich nach Teenie-Pop, Max Martin gehört langsam auch mal verboten, ist ja ätzend und warum die jetzt auch noch Electro-Pop machen muss erschließt sich mir auch nicht ganz.
▒ Prima, vlotte voorloper van haar nieuwe in maart 2011 te verschijnen album "Goodbye Lullaby", uit november 2010 !!! Na bijna 4 jaar verschijnt er eindelijk weer eens een nieuw album van de nu 26 jarige Canadese songschrijfster en zangeres "Avril Ramona Lavigne" ☺!!!
ich hatte mir eine etwas erwachsenere Nummer erhofft und nicht so einen Abklatsch alter Hits. Schade, nicht die geringste Weiterentwicklung ersichtlich! 3*

Ja, sie ist wieder da! Avril meldet sich mit einer flotten Nummer zurück und versüßt damit den Start ins neue Jahr. Ob's ein Hit wird, ist eine andere Frage..
Edit: Die Single gibt es bei uns jetzt auch schon zu kaufen und wird im Radio rauf und runter gespielt. Anders als bei ihren alten Songs, würde es mich nicht stören, wenn etwas anderes liefe.
This could possibly be her strongest lead single as Complicated did nothing for me, Don't Tell Me was rather boring and Girlfriend was just shit. It's just mindless fun and with good promotion this could be a big early spring hit. The verses are really good and the best part of the song, but the chorus disappoints slightly. It sounds as if she's been there, done that. The sound is 100 times better than it is with Alice and the song is catchy and could grow on me. But for now it's just an average 3.
I'm torn on this. I think the song itself is kind of fun and rather catchy. BUT, I feel that Avril is not the right person to sing this song. Maybe several years ago, but she should really be going for something more mature. The content and lyrics, and overall sound of this song are best described as immature. Then again, Avril's vocals are quite bad, and could easily be described as immature themselves. I'd plump for awful myself, though at least she sounds better than she did on Alice. It could grow on me, but I could end up loathing it just as easily.
