A unique style for Usher. I never took offence to this and still enjoy it today. However I can understand the backlash from those that really liked Usher's old sound and might not like this change in direction.
I hated it so much to begin with, but then slowly over the time its play count on my iTunes just kept getting higher and higher. And now I absolutely love it! There's something really strange about it, different to what's usually heard on the charts.

da hat unser negrider freund wohl bei den simpsons abgekupfert. eine folge in der homer ein weihnachtslied singt, welches genauso klingt wie dieser afro-trash erguss
Mein wirklich, WIRKLICH peinlicher Lieblingssong von 2010 (nach We No Speak Americano)... Ich weiss, es gibt keine Entschuldigung dafür. Ausser schöne Reiseerinnerungen.
Da ist nun überhaupt nichts Gutes auszumachen. Monoton und kraftlos von A-Z, dazu die verfremdete Stimme (zum wievieltausendsten Mal?), und das Gegröhle setzt dem Ganzen noch die Krone auf. Vollkommener Mumpitz!
Man hört irgendwie sofort heraus, dass will.i.am dahinter steckt; klingt also eher wie ein sehr schlechtes Black Eyed Peas Lied. Eine Melodie lässt sich nur schwierig, bis gar nicht erkennen und gesanglich ist das von Usher auch nichts, wenn er seine Stimme derart vom Computer bearbeiten lässt. Schwach.
Gruselig! "OMG" laß ich bis vor kurzem auch immer so, ohne wirklich wissen zu wollen, welche schwachsinnige Abkürzung das nun ist. Aber wir behandelten das Thema "SMS Language" im Englischunterricht.

There's something strangely addictive about this song. On first listen, I hated it (like most will.i.am songs I hear) but on a few more listens, it sort of dragged me in. But my liking for this song didn't last longer than a few days before I got sick of it.

I much prefer this to Usher's style like 'Burn', but he's had better songs. Very catchy though, whenever I think of the song I find myself singing it for the next hour, and yes that's made me memorize all the lyrics. 4/6.

Ist auch absolut nicht mein musikalischer Stil, aber der Nerv-Faktor hält sich noch in Grenzen, daher knappe 3, einige Ansätze sind wirklich gelungen, besser als ich zuerst gedacht habe
Hab das Lied vor 2 Monaten auf mein iPhone geladen, damals gefiel's mir(war ein Remix). Jetzt wenn ich es in 0riginal höre gefällt es mir gar nicht mehr!

This is awful i wouldn't call this music. Usher i think is a has been. Yes he was great but personally think he's peaked. Definately if this is the best he can come up with now. I think he needs to change styles now and surprise everyone with a great album within a different genre. Annoyed this is #1 would prefer the Scouting for Girls track still as it's grown on me and i think it's great now. Usher's fourth UK#1 and Will.I.Am's first UK#1. UK#1 and Ireland#1. Mir gefällt dieser Track "OMG" recht gut. Usher mal im ungewohnt electronischen, hymnischen Soundgewandt zu hören tut gut.
Will. I.am beweist einmal mehr, dass er zu den größten derzeit zählt. Mit den "Black eyed peas" fährt er Erfolge ein, wie derzeit kaum ein anderer. :-0)
Ich vermute mal, dass "OMG" mind. ein kleiner Single-Hit werden wird. Vielleicht auch größer - man sollte nicht vergessen, bald ist die Fußball-WM. Und ins Stadion passt dieser pumpende Track bestens.
Usher lässt seine Stimme nun also auch verstärkt computertechnisch bearbeiten. Klingt langweilig, austauschbar, aber ehrlich gesagt war Usher doch auch nie ein Künstler, dessen Musik unverzichtbar für die Welt ist.

ik was erg enthousiast met de nieuwe single van usher maar dat was voordat ik hem hoorde. net als zovele andere artiesten gaan ze allemaal mee in dezelfde 'vibe' en die staat me niet erg aan . ik hoop dat zijn volgende single die hij uitbrengt terug de oude usher is ...

▒ Inderdaad @Dave dit rustige eerste plaatje van "Usher's" zijn nieuwste album "Raymond v. Raymond" bevalt mij ook wel !!! Maar of het plaatje een hit zal worden in de Nederlandse hitlijsten, april 2010, betwijfel ik !!! Exact 4 sterren ☺!!!
