Rod Stewart und Cher sind ein prominentes Sangesgespann, welches sich vorliegend erstmals gemeinsam vor dem Mikrophon zusammenfand. Ich tu mich etwas schwer mit ihrer gemeinsamen Version eines Doris-Day-Klassikers. Der Song beginnt gefällig, verkommt für meine Begriffe danach aber relativ rasch zu einer plätschrig-schleichigen Angelegenheit. Die solide 4 ist jedoch ungefährdet. Ich konstatiere dezente Überlänge. |
